Check out Brooklyn based Nine Cakes, for some AMAZING desserts for your next event {if you're in the tri-state area}. I have not been this excited about a Bakery Menu since the day Bouchon Bakery opened in the Time Warner Center Mall in NYC.

Sophisticated foodies {especially the sweet-toothed ones}, listen up... Nine Cakes will have you swooning and soon enough you'll be saying "Magnolia who?" With a menu that features a year-round offering of flavors like Almond Rosewater and Lemon-ginger with buttercream/fillings like honey and passionfruit... not to mention a current winter menu with cakes like Turkish Delight {almond cake with a pinch of cardamom, topped with rosewater buttercream and sprinkled with turkish delight}, Mayan Chocolate {dark chocolate cake topped with chocolate ganache with hints of cinnamon, ancho chile, and almond}, and Gingerbread Vanilla {filled with spices and an extra kick of fresh ginger, a delicious gingerbread topped with vanilla bean buttercream}... your palette will be awakened from the ho-hum bore of Banana Pudding {yeah...yeah it's still delicious}.

Better yet, NYC Brides... I have been thrown out the idea of a Dessert Station to the talented baker behind Nine Cakes... and she is definitely interested! With such a huge variety of goodness and gorgeous gorgeous looking cakes - how can you not want them all? The solution - a dessert station of course. Also, Nine Cakes will do "tastings" perfect for showers and birthday parties!
